Munch is snoozing right now because she just had a fabulous time helping Olivia celebrate her third birthday. Mighty Munch met up with her buddy, Brea, to welcome Miss O into Club Three. A sunny good time was had by all. A big thank you to the St.Ans for having us. Happy birthday, Olivia!

Easter Show

Well I can't believe it. Another Easter show has come upon us. Munch performed last night with her classmates at her school's annual Easter program. The celebratory song was "Alive, Alive, Alive." The highlight for Hubs and I was seeing our little Munch perform. For Munch I think it was getting to wear her "party" dress and "tap" shoes. What a girlie girl!

Coxinha a la Ana

Well, after being married to Hubs for almost 11 years, it finally dawned on me that I could try to make some of Hubs favorite native Brazilian dishes. Several nights ago, I attempted to make this Brazilian popular dish, coxinha. It is basically a croquette filled with a cheesy chicken filling. Hubs and Munch gobbled it up. Now I must get the opinion of my m-i-l. Vovo Lydia, what do you think?

Incoming

Munch has been asking for a baby brother, baby sister or dog lately. She commented the other day that when Hubs and I got older, she will have a new mommy and daddy so she can get a baby brother or sister. Perfectly logical in her mind! She almost seemed perplexed when we explained to her that we were the only mommy and daddy that she would have from now on.

Well, it's about time! My good friends from the adoption community are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Of course, the M family already brought home their super cute little man, Daniel, several months ago. Next to take the journey are our friends, Fliss and Mike, who will be traveling soon to bring their little Shauna home. Now our dear friends, Castor and Joyce, will be leaving in April or May to bring home three-year old Alex. By the way, Munch keeps calling him the baby even though I repeatedly explain to her that he is the same age as she is. Now there is news that our friends, Kristin and Dave, might get their long-awaited referral in about 12 weeks. We are over-the-top happy for all of them and can't wait to meet the new mei meis and di dis.
